Are the travel expenses included in your packages or covered additionally?

Travel is included within 30 miles of New Bern, NC. Locations beyond that may have an additional travel fee of $1 per mile round trip to cover time and travel expenses.

This is my first photoshoot, what should I know?

First off, take a deep breath this is a time for you to relax and simply be present with your little one. There is no need for fake smiles or forced moments. I want you to feel comfortable being your true selves and allow this time to be a pause from the busyness of this season.


Newborn sessions are not about perfection; they are about capturing the love, connection, and little details that make this chapter so special. I will guide you every step of the way, from gentle prompts to helping position baby safely and comfortably. Your baby’s needs always come first, so we will take breaks for feeding, changing, and cuddles whenever needed.


You do not need to worry about knowing what to do or how to pose that’s my job! Whether this is your first photoshoot or you’ve been in front of the camera before, I’m here to make this experience relaxed, easy, and full of memories you’ll cherish forever. If you have any questions before or during your session, never hesitate to ask I’m always happy to help.

What happens if the weather is unfavourable for an outdoor shoot?

I always keep an eye on the forecast leading up to your session, but sometimes Mother Nature has other plans. If the weather is unsafe or would prevent us from creating the beautiful images we planned for, we will work together to find the best solution.


For outdoor sessions, light rain, clouds, or cooler temperatures do not always mean we have to reschedule some of the most magical images happen under unexpected skies. However, if there is heavy rain, thunderstorms, high winds, or unsafe conditions, we will reschedule your session for the next available date.


Your session is important to me, and I want you to have images you absolutely love. I will always communicate with you and guide you through the process so you never have to worry about what happens next.
